How many layers can I record?
Four layers per Weld. Each layer is a full-length loop with its own waveform strip, mute and solo. The first layer you record sets the global BPM.
What does Weld actually do?
Weld fuses your recorded layers into a single loop through an offline mixdown. Two or more layers become one track you can keep playing over or export as WAV.
Is this a DAW replacement?
No — it is the fastest way to capture a layered idea before opening one. Record and weld in the browser, then export the mixdown or stems into your DAW for production.
Can I fix a bad take?
Yes. Clear any single layer with a long-press and re-record it. Destructive actions always need a deliberate hold, so nothing disappears by accident.
